'Running Dry’ is the story of Tom Blaine, a misogynist, alcoholic and reclusive
literary legend, who’s gun-in-the-mouth suicide attempt is rudely disrupted, first by his own inability to reach a ‘final edit’ on
a suicide note, then by a call from the cops, requiring him to come speak to a deranged stalker who has captured the media’s attention.
From this point on, not only does the life of Tom Blaine fail to end, it becomes extremely complicated...
