Whilst mid-50’s New York swings to the wild sounds of Jazz and beat poetry, three violent murders set off a chain of events leading from the swingers of Greenwich Village to the heart of the Mob.

At the centre of the storm, Private Detective Tony Brady -- a violent and possibly unstable ex-cop -- is hired as bodyguard to the beautiful daughter of a powerful business-man, and must contend with his own troubled emotions, a failing marriage to a swinger on the Village scene, and the problem of a lone killer who is quickly turning the mob against each other - and him.

As Brady’s private life and emotions become embroiled in events - and his disturbed past rises to the surface - he is sent hurtling towards a heart-rending, white knuckle climax, in which this heroic loose-canon -- more unpredictable than he has ever before been -- throws himself guns-blazing into the midst of both the Mob and the F.B.I.’s carefully laid plans, before coming face to face with the deranged serial-killer himself in a Mexican stand-off of tragic proportions.
