Pat Brien is British and has had countless articles -- mainly comic and satirical -- published in various independent national magazines
in England, as well as several literary short-stories and a dramatic monologue broadcast on BBC radio.
He has a literary story
“One Of The Boys,” in an edition of R .P. Burnham’s annual US literary journal ‘The Long Story’ - #22 and one of his screenplays landed
a semi-finalist position in Francis Ford Coppola’s First Annual Zoetrope SP Contest; another picked up a ‘Second Round,’ position
in the latest Austin Film Festival Contest.
A poem ‘Genetically Modified Food For Thought,’ has been published in the fourth
edition of the Paris/New York poetry journal ‘Van Gogh’s Ear,’ published by French Connection Press, along with original contributions
from, among others, Yoko Ono, Norman Mailer and Laurence Ferlinghetti; and he was until recently Senior Correspondent for Francophile
Internet magazine ‘Bonjour Paris’.
An article written with BP's Karen Fawcett (President) and Sarah Gilbert Fox (Directeur Général),
has just been published in this year’s edition of the popular guide-book ‘Paris For Dummies.’
His BBC monologue was recently
translated into Serbian by translator Djordje Krivokapic and received a radio broadcast in Belgrade. He lives and works in Paris,
France.
